![]() ![]() This most likely broke Morph's heart because up until that point he thought that he really mattered to Silver. ![]() When Silver talks with Jim, trying to bribe the map from him, he calls for Morph to come with him but Morph stays with Jim after seeing for the first time his master's other side, and hearing him say that he cared about only one thing: Flint's treasure. He later plays a trick on Jim by transforming into the Map and thereby revealing that the real map was still on the ship, which the crew had stolen. Morph's antics later lead Jim to discover the truth about Silver and the mutiny. However, the two also have a good time together such as after the confrontation with Scroop where they make fun of Scroop with Morph taking on Scroop's form to add effect. Silver later assigns Morph to watch over Jim and Morph plays tricks on the boy, such as stealing his boots. Morph is in the form of the spoon he uses and shocks Jim when he tries to eat with him. Morph first appears when Jim is in the kitchen and tries to eat some soup. This display has Silver get Morph to stay with Jim rather than break his heart. ![]() He returns to Silver after he saves Jim, but is shown to have grown so fond of the boy that he cries himself into a puddle in Jim's hands. While he initially follows Jim only due to Silver's orders and later due to the circumstances of them fleeing the ship, when he has the chance to return to Silver, Morph is frightened by his master's behavior and stays with Jim instead when Silver orders him to come. He displays a liking to Jim Hawkins, the protagonist, and is able to assist him with his morphing powers. Morph is known for being quite mischievous and has caused trouble in the past. Both this film and The Adventures of Pluto Nash were released in 2002.Morph is the trusted sidekick and pet of John Silver. Michael Wincott, who voiced Scroop, appeared in Metro with Eddie Murphy, who is well known for voicing Donkey in the Shrek franchise.Scroop is Michael Wincott’s first voice over role in an animated film.John Silver disliked Scroop as the sapient was a psychopath, but he kept him on his crew due to Scroop being a skilled seaman.Scroop and Captain Flint were the only villains to appear in the film without some type of redemption.In promotional images, Scroop is seen eating a purp which was found on wallpapers.He would’ve most likely died a long death due to extreme cold, lack of food and water, and countless other factors that he could’ve encountered after his final scene. Since this movie’s version of space has breathable atmosphere, he would not have died due to lack of oxygen. This is actually much darker of a scene than some people seem to ignore. He quickly realizes his fatal mistake as he begins to drift away from the ship, however it is sadly much too late at this point as he screeches in terror before floating into what appears to be his doom. At the end of the mad dash, Scroop lets his temper get the best of him, as he lunges for Jim but misses, resulting in him getting tangled in the flag. sneak back onto the Legacy and encounter Scroop, resulting in a chase throughout the ship in what was without a doubt the most terrifying and tense sequence in this movie. We don’t see a whole lot of Scroop aside from a bit of abuse from Silver(say what you want Silver or Jim fans, that was pyschical abuse) until much later into the movie, when Jim, morph, and B.E.N. He also later on kills the first mate himself, Arrow, and cleverly frames Jim and is believed, a move clearly made to both clear suspicions towards the pirate, but also as a way to attempt to cut off nearly all of Jim’s allies. Our very first introduction to him in which he attempts to publicly slaughter Jim quickly gets us acquainted with his villainous nature. His gray hair hints that he is one of the more elderly members of the crew, and it’s safe to say that he most likely has known Silver for quite some time. He is a sinister spider-like alien who attempts to stage a mutiny on the ship. Scroop is the central antagonist of Disney’s fourty-third full-length animated feature film Treasure Planet. "Cabin boys should learn to mind their own business" Personality: Aggressive, sadistic, cruel, Short-tempered, bloodthirsty, strong, merciless, mysterious, intelligent, murderous, unhinged, deceitful, treacherousįate: Scroop floated off in to the depths of the Ehterium, apparently to his demise.
